The Nazareth Area Blue Eagle Band Parent organization (NABEBP) was created to support the activities of the Blue Eagle Marching Band and our band director, Mr. Brad Boandl. Our organization provides the funding for many expenses which the band would not otherwise be able to afford. These expenses include: Entrance fees to competitions, transportation to all competitions, moving equipment for our instruments to and from shows, purchase and maintenance of instruments, show props, dry cleaning of uniforms, water for the band during community events and parades, etc.
In order to provide these funds, the organization runs general fundraising activities including: Soundfest (our home competition), Spaghetti dinner, Basket Bingo, and Concession stand at all home football games, high school musical, dance recital, and DCA competition (which is at our location)
We also run many individual fundraisers where the profits go directly to YOUR CHILD’s account. These profits vary based on the fundraiser. This is an excellent way to offset costs for band trips, which we have been lucky enough to be offered every year. A portion of your child’s account may be used for these trips. The remainder may be rolled over to the next band year.
